vinman,
"The Watchtower did not teach about why to trust Bible. Did not teach me why I need to worship Yahweh. Did not teach me the reality of Jesus,"
I realize that the Watchtower has nothing worthy to teach us but you tied in your beliefs to the Universe's existence and I responded with an example of 'Creation' that should cause people to think twice before attributing it to the Judeo-Christian-Muslim god.
By the way, have you read Carl Sagan's book Cosmos?

"The first answer that comes to my mind is: to get the result of crashing two galaxies."
If such a god were the all knowing god of the Bible or any similar religion he would already know what the results would be before he even creates those galaxies.
"If, from the micro perspective, you happened to live on one of those small molecular structures facing destruction you'd have one view."
I think the OP had a much more benevolent creator in mind who counts every hair on your head.

The Universe shows signs of order and disorder but not intelligence. The picture down below should help explain why. Why would God crash two galaxies together?

Atheism
by Jonathan Drake inrecent events and book reads (one suggested by cofty i believe- thank you) have lead me to the only logical and acceptable conclusion:.
there is no god.. simple logical reasoning: matter can neither me created or destroyed.
so the amount of mass in the universe is constant.

@ Cofty,
"Specify any god that is worshipped today, or ever has been worshipped, and we can prove beyond all reasonable doubt that it does not exist."
One can conceive of a Deistic god who created the Universe in the way a scientist would run an experiment just to see what happens. No Bible, no immortality or judgment, no communicating with us Earthlings. Proving or disproving such a 'god' might not be possible but he could still be there.

to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH
by oompa inand i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.
but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .
how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?

How do you feel about religion as a whole?
by FatherFirst init just seems to me religion in general primarily makes truly bad people worse, not genuinly good people better; and in many cases has even made good people do bad things in the name of their religion.
just curious, a personal poll if you will.
what are you guys' current views on religion as a whole?

As an atheist I am pretty mild when it comes to religion in theory. I don't care if you believe in fairies and leprechauns. We've been religious ever since we were painting cave walls. We worshipped what we ate. Now however we worship what eats us - demon sky gods and other monstrosities.
I only get aggressive when said religion tries to impose itself in the public arena such as school prayers or imposing their sacred texts on the public. This, the US, is not a Christian nation nor a Buddhist or Hindu or atheist nation. It is a nation for any, every and no religion. Secularism - religious neutrality - is the proper stance for a nation state.

Nope, I didn't fall for it.
By the way, is the reason you kept jehovahs-witness.com while we were jehovahs-witness.net have anything to do with keeping that name out of the Watchtower's hands?

Congratulations JD. I don't agree with your cosmology but the nature of the Universe does point in the direction of a godless reality. You might want to check out the original Cosmos series by Carl Sagan. That series helped put the Universe into perspective for me.
